Capturing the Heart of an Unforgettable Night
Celebrating West Midlands Heroes Through Powerful Event Content – A powerful evening celebrating young heroes across the West Midlands – captured through heartfelt video, photography, and live event storytelling.
In February 2025, we were honoured to support the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation at their Children of Courage Awards – an inspiring celebration of remarkable young people and children’s charities across the West Midlands.
Held at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham, the evening was a powerful mix of courage, community and creativity. Our job? To capture it all with heart and precision – through event photography, live videography, and a suite of short-form video interviews that told each child’s story in their own words.
Our Role: Telling Their Stories with Heart
Working with Greg Palethorpe of Bowbrook Financial, who led the event with heart and vision, we took on a three-part brief:

Every part of the process was rooted in one clear mission: do these children justice.
Telling Stories That Deserve to Be Seen
We worked closely with Greg Palethorpe from Bowbrook Financial, the driving force behind the event, to deliver a complete content package designed to elevate the experience before, during, and after the big night.
🎬 Nominee Interview Videos
Before the event, we spent a day filming at St. James’s Place in Solihull, interviewing each finalist to create a series of powerful, emotional story snippets. These short films were used:
- On the big screens during the awards ceremony, introducing each nominee to the audience
- Across social media and event promo channels to build excitement and awareness
📸 Live Event Photography
We captured the atmosphere of the night through dynamic, heartfelt images – from standing ovations and teary-eyed hugs to high-energy performances and joyous celebrations. Photos were turned around quickly for press coverage, social sharing, and a full gallery of moments the families could treasure.
🎥 Showcase Event Video Production
Our team filmed the full evening, crafting a high-impact highlight film that shares the energy, joy and emotion of the night – perfect for fundraising, future promotion, and reliving the event.
We captured the sparkle, the laughter, the standing ovations – stitching together a final film that tells the story of the night with heart and flair.
